THE ICONS ARE GONE AND SO IS THE START MENU!! HOW DO I GET THEM BACK??
SOMEONE TOLD ME TO DOWNLOAD THIS:

BUT IT WONT DOWNLOAD AND THIS ZIP FILE WONT OPEN EITHER…

Go here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ to find out whether you have a virus. You won’t have to download or install anything. If you do have one, boot to Safe Mode (hold down the F5 key while the computer boots), to install the antivirus software of your choice.

Try rebooting, Explorer might have crashed and not started back up again. Also, try scanning for viruses and spyware in safe mode.
Have you tried turning off your computer or restarting it? Try that and see if that helps.

Your explorer isn’t working. If it is only a boot problem and the explorer itself is fine, you may fix it by doing the following:
1. When Windows starts, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE once, 2. then when the process window opens, there should be an option in one of the toolbars to start a new process. Click that.
3. Type explorer.exe in the input box, and it should start the explorer.
If that doesn’t work, you should re-install windows.
