i have this program on my comp and its called F-Secure. When i was removing it from my comp, i was also downloading something else. and it restarted my comp. before F-Secure was sucessfully removed. so now i donno how to remove it. its like its half there and half not. i cant find it in my “add and remove programs” in my control panel or if i try to search for it in my comp. it says that its not there. BUT! when i try to download another anti-virus software it doesn’t work because it says that it can download if there is already and exsisting virus software.
so…my question is, how can i remove F-Secure?
PS: my comp is a Dell, and it has Windows XP
thanks!
Chosen Answer:
Try reinstalling it, then reboot and uninstall again this time let it finish if you’re installing anything else at the same time wait for F secure to finish before rebooting.

OK, do this: reinstall F-Secure fully, following all the instructions (say, if it wants you to reboot the comp, do that), then re-UNinstall it completely.
If you don’t have the installation CD or file, you can do this, remove all F-secure related entries from registry. You can download a software called Registry Crawler to do the job. Search for all F-secure entries using keyword “f-secure” and/or its manufacturer’s name, and select and delete all of them. Good luck.
